Cheryl Cooper, DDSGeneral Dentistry
Dr. Cheryl Cooper is a seasoned dental professional with 17 years of experience. She completed her dental degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in May of 1995. She then completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Nebraska. She and her husband, Sean, moved to Salem in 1997, and she worked in Salem for seven years. For the past eight years, she has been an associate with an office in Albany before making the trip back up to Salem to practice with us here at Smiles Dental.Dr. Cooper has two very active boys and enjoys spending time with them during their various activities. She is a US Masters swimmer and is an early riser for her workouts with the BearCats Masters team. She and her husband are very active leaders with Boy Scout troop 19 here in Salem, where both of her boys are on their way to earning their Eagle Scout rank. Dr. Cooper and her oldest son, Colin, are singers and musicians with their Praise team at Salem First Christian Church.
Theron L. Nebeker, DMDGeneral Dentistry
Dr. Theron Lane Nebeker grew up in Canby, Oregon, and attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate education. He then moved back to Oregon to complete his dentistry degree at the Oregon Health and Sciences University School of Dentistry in Portland. Dr. Nebeker now resides in Salem, Oregon, and practices dentistry in the Smiles Dental office. Dr. Nebeker loves supporting and following the local sports teams and has a passion for fishing here in the Pacific Northwest. He is married to Ashley and has a baby boy named Theron (Jr.).
Michael Hall, DDSGeneral Dentistry
Dr. Michael Hall grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. In high school, he was a four-time state champion in Drumline and in the Avon Marching Black and Gold.
He attended college at Olivet Nazarene University near Chicago, where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry. While at Olivet, he was involved in mission programs to Haiti and helped organize a fundraiser to build wells for drinking water in Haitian churches. After Olivet, he attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he continued his passion for service. He has been involved in many free dental clinics around the Southern California area, as well as a mission trip to the island of St. Vincent.
Dr. Hall, his wife, Mary, and their dogs, Chloe and Indy, moved to Oregon to be closer to family. They just had their first child, Finley Elisha Mason Hall, in December 2017.
He is excited about continuing service activities in his local community and the opportunity to positively impact the lives of the people around him. Dr. Hall enjoys watching and playing sports, outdoor activities, traveling, game nights with friends, and playing an active role in his church.
